Prayer Warriors,

While the ladies' Xtreme Team will continue to disciple the churches in two of the villages, our team is officially finished with our work with the Amarakaeri. Despite getting terribly sick, getting bit by a dog, having a rat run across my face while I was trying to sleep, and smashing the tip of my finger nearly completely off, I, along with Chris and Marcello, had a great final trip full of blessings.

We were privileged to disciple the believers once more and to enjoy spending time with our friends one last time. It was, at times, overwhelming to think about leaving these villages for good as we have, for about a year and a half now, been living with these families, sharing our lives with them. Still, the Lord blessed us with good good-byes that allowed us to edify the Followers while committing the church to Jesus. We will now continue to pray for their growth and sanctification, trusting the Lord to protect and shepherd His Sheep. I ask you to keep lifting them up as well.

Throughout the trip, I was reminded time and time again about all the glorious works we have witnessed God perform among this people group. I was reminded that as we pray for these five new churches, we are to celebrate the Lord's faithfulness and praise Him for all He has done.

For the rest of this month, Chris and I will be helping the SC's train three new missionaries joining our team from the states. During that time, I will try to e-mail you periodically with journal entries from this past trip, a few top 10 lists, and other closing thoughts as this season comes to an end. Next month, we'll be going home.

Thank you all for your faithful prayers that you have constantly offered up as you have partnered with our team in this mission for nearly two years. You are nothing less than Warriors!

-Jonathan

p.s.--The doctors here assure me that my finger will be normal again in about 12 years--I'm looking forward to that.
