Prayer Warriors,

After sharing the Gospel and witnessing the Lord plant new churches among the Gentiles, Paul was always quick to return to those towns in order to visit, strengthen, and encourage the new disciples there.

"Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Anticoh, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith," Acts 14:21-22. "Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, 'Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns where we preached the Word of the Lord and see how they are doing,'" Acts 15:36.

Following this example, and in obedience to the Great Commission, our team longs to make disciples of the Amarakaeri, teaching the new believers there to obey all of Jesus' commands. This Friday will mark the beginning of a 10-week long trip, during which, we will visit all four villages, all five Hut Churches, and focus on teaching the gospels, the book of Acts, and Paul's letters. Pray that the Lord will use this time to prepare for Himself a spotless, firmly-founded Bride that will stand strong so as to be ready for His glorious return. It is a prayer for Him to be glorified, honored, and pleased by these indigenous churches. Pray for their sanctification.

If you would like, take time right now, and, in praying scripture, lift up this prayer from the first chapter of Ephesians for the churches in the Amarakaeri villages of Boca Inimbari, Masenawa, Barraca, and Shintuya:

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe."

Oh how we anticipate seeing the power of the Father working among these churches in answer to your faithful prayers!

Refreshed after the most amazing and wonderful vacation in the history of vacations, that I just had with my family,
